SHUHARI JAPAN
Your trusted guide to Japan's finest craftsmanship and manufacturers

About Us
SHUHARI JAPAN was founded to bring the beauty of Japanese craftsmanship and artisanal culture to the world.
The concept of "Shu-Ha-Ri" represents a journey: to preserve tradition, to learn from it, and ultimately to transcend it into new forms of value.
Guided by this philosophy, we are building relationships with artisans, workshops, and manufacturers across Japan — seeking out the people whose hands carry centuries of knowledge, and whose stories deserve to be heard beyond borders.
Our mission is to create meaningful connections between Japan and the world — inviting people to experience, understand, and appreciate the depth of Japanese culture.
From timeless traditions to future possibilities, SHUHARI JAPAN serves as a bridge between heritage and innovation. We are just beginning — and we would love for you to be part of this journey.

Founder & Curator
For over 20 years, I have been involved in brand strategy, partnership planning, and new business development at American theme parks, foreign film distribution companies, international luxury brands, and domestic automobile manufacturers.
Through that experience, I have strongly felt that Japan has many excellent crafts and manufacturing sites that are worthy of world-class recognition.
And that these skills and aesthetic sensibilities are highly valued overseas.
On the other hand, many artisans and local communities are so busy with production and daily activities that they do not have enough time to adequately communicate with the outside world or create new connections.
SHUHARI JAPAN was established to act as a bridge connecting Japanese crafts, arts, and regional culture with the world, creating such encounters and connections.
